1. Sign into your Apple School Manager (ASM) admin account - https://school.apple.com/
2. Click the users tab and use the search bar at the top to locate the student then click on their username. Once in the student profile click the ‘Reset Password’ button at the top of the screen
3. Enter the new temporary password. I have used ‘1111’ for this one. Then click continue
And then continue again.
4. Once the progress bar completes you will be presented with another page confirming the action has completed and if needed you can download the file with the new details.
5. Then on the device with the matching account, when you see the pop up message, choose the sign in option. The device will usually bring you to the settings and will prompt you to enter the new temporary password.
6. After entering the new password you will then be prompted to set a new password to use going forward
And you will need to confirm this in another window by entering the new password once more.
7. This will then complete the password reset process and the new password will be what you enter with any future pop up messages.
